High School in INDONESIA n' USA

Hey there...!!!
I'm back to the line... :D
I just finished my final exam and now i'm like doing nothing at all..,so i just open my laptop and decide to start writing again...Lol
I was going trough my documents, folders and stuffs to get rid of some junks..but then i opened "My pictures" folder and saw some old pics of mine...and now...i wanna write about the differences between high school in Indonesia and USA, since i was studying in USA for about a year for my senior year (proud alert...hahahaha..)
So, let's take a look...

1. UNIFORM

Yeah of course u have to wear uniforms in Indonesia, including the teachers and staffs. I used to wear this scout uniform on Friday and Sturday.

NO UNIFORM in USA...ooo yeaahhh...But for private school u have to wear uniform. I was in public school so i didn't need to wear ones.

2. CLASS ROOM

The ordinary class room, but now a day there are lots of "modern" class room with no more wooden desk...hahaha...  

This used to be my class in Tiffin Columbian High School, Ohio...looks more modern huh...Lol

3. LOCKER
In Indonesia, we rarely have lockers at school. But every school in USA, i think has lockers...It looks like this..

You have to memorize the place of ur locker and of course the key code. It happened one day that i couldn't find where's my locker at and i forgot my key code..,but thanks to my beloved friends that helped me that day...hahahaha.. :p

4. BOOKS
I didn't need to buy books when i studied in USA. The school library would lend me the books that i had to take care really well. Then  i had to return it in the best condition like when i got it. If there's broken piece then i had to pay some money.
In Indonesia, of course, you have to buy all the books u need at school. Even the books got revised every single year so u can't use the old books from ur upper class mates.


5. SCHOOL SUBJECTS
In USA u can choose the school subjects that u wanna take but still u have to take the primary subjects then u can take others. It pretty much like the campus system in Indonesia (the credit system).
In Indonesia, u have to take all the subjects provided by the school even though u don't like it. For example i don't like chemistry..,the school won't even care..i have to take it. But when i was in USA, i could drop chemistry cause i wasn't interested on that subjects. And i could take choir class which we do not have here in Indonesia (choir, band, etc are just extracurricular)   

6. FOOTBALL GAMES
That was the most interesting thing i found in USA school...FRIDAY FOOTBALL GAMES...!!!.ooo yeaaahhh baby... :D

everyone in town was at the football field and cheering GO BLUE..!!!.miss that moment...

7. FLAG CEREMONY
In Indonesia, every Monday we have flag ceremony where all the people at the school have to attend it.

8. SCHOOL DIPLOMA

It's smaller than in Indonesia. We got the school diploma at the graduation ceremony where we were wearing toga and stuffs..,after that we had graduation party... ^^

That's how Indonesian school diploma looks like with the score we got in the final exam at the behind page. We have no graduation ceremony and graduation party..,but we have another way to celebrate our graduation...THIS IS IT...

WOOHHOOOO...!!!. get dirty and be happy... :D

Those are pretty much the differences between high school in Indonesia and USA. There are still lots more but i can't think of those no more...just too many...hahahaha...
The main thing is..,where ever u study, u have to get the knowledge...
